Mrs. Palin, are you trying to seduce me?
This picture appeared in the New York Daily Post today. Yes, those are Sarah Palin's legs and that is, indeed, a young Republican.
And, yes, this is photojournalism at its finest.

Crankster: Mrs Pallin, are you try ....., Your blog is good. I thought you were also creative because you could make content that was very great. You were willing to waste time and thoughts to dismiss this idea.
Don't had stopped contributing your sparkling idea in this blog. I was convinced this blog really must be useful.

Heh. I love the caption:
"A supporter with a front-row seat appears mesmerized by Gov. Sarah Palin..."
ROFL... Mesmerized. Yeah.
Too bad it's not Tina Fey instead.

She came in second in the Ms. Alaska contest and understands the economics of 'drill, baby, drill'. No wonder he's mezmerized.

Actually, he looks more lobotomised than mesmerised...

I'm sure he's just interested in hanging on her every word. I bet he never even noticed she had legs. Actually it does look like he's focused a bit higher.

Photojournalism at its finest, my ass. Where are the whips and chains, the black hoods and studded collars?
By heartinsanfrancisco, At October 11, 2008 at 12:08 AM
Fred-
Yeah, I'm not sure "mesmerized" is the word I'd use. Perhaps "tittilated by the VPILF" might be more accurate?
CEO-
And she can sure throw a wink!
Puss-
You DID notice that he's wearing a McCain shirt, right?
Moi-
And a fine photog he is. Too bad the caption writer was such a lightweight!
Spellbound-
I'm sure that he's being very careful to maintain eye contact.
By the way, did I mention that I still believe in the Easter Bunny?
Hearts-
Imagine Todd Palin. Now imagine him naked. Now ask yourself if you really, really want to see the whips, chains, hoods and collars.
Personally, I'll settle for this bargain-basement Benjamin Braddock!
By Bruce, At October 12, 2008 at 12:46 AM
I'd bang her.
By M@, At October 12, 2008 at 6:00 PM
M@ what would you not bang?

You know, my first reaction to the picture was laughing at the typical hormonal reaction of a young voter towards an atractive woman!; however, my second thought is about what does it take for a female leader to be taken seriously and respected, specially, if being pretty?
I am not discussing whether you or anybody agree with Palin political views but the fact that it looks like for a female leader to be respected she's got to hide any particular physical trait that could suggest she may be actually good looking. That is very disappointing considering it is 2008 and there is still quite a long time to go for that to happen.
By Career4Change, At October 23, 2008 at 12:04 PM
hey career for change, I agree with you but it's not just that she's pretty. she's female and she doesn't have to wear pants if she chooses not to. this is degradation to women by the intent of the photographer. maybe his mind's in the gutter and not the viewer. get with the times, guys. wanna see mccain in a skirt?
By Anonymous, At October 23, 2008 at 12:44 PM
Career 4 Change and Anonymous-
To be honest, McCain in a skirt would be pretty funny.
In the case of Palin, I guess my issue is that she's doing the classic move of trying to have her cake and eat it, too. On the one hand, her daughter's pregnancy is off the table, but on the other hand, she drags her kids out constantly to make her appear more maternal. On the one hand, she has stated on the record that gender shouldn't enter into issues, yet her proxies have cried sexism at the drop of a hat.
From where I'm standing, Palin wants to play the seductress, the mother, and the serious politico, yet also reserves the right to call sexism whenever these roles, and their appropriateness, are questioned.
I agree that this photographer may have framed this photo in a somewhat sexist way. On the other hand, Palin has winked, shimmied, and moue-ed her way through most of the electoral processes, going from pit bull to car-parts model to Shirley Temple whenever doing so suited her needs. To see her cemented in one of those roles is, honestly, pretty amusing.

well, i gotta admit, i'd rather see up palin's skirt than biden's!

I bet when he blinks his eyes slowly, his eye lids read:
